Head of Learning and Development

Reporting into the Country Manager, it will be your key responsibility to ensure that all learning and development interventions are aligned to strategic priorities, frameworks and processes.  Through your thorough understanding of the emerging needs of the business you will partner with internal senior stakeholders to identify appropriate talent pipelines and will proactively manage their development and deployment.
Through managing a small team you will structure and formalise a comprehensive L&D framework ensuring that training solutions are designed and delivered to a high quality.  You will also regularly liaise with external professional bodies to ensure that all existing and new requirements are met through training solutions.
This is a key position within a respected and influential team.  Your role as Head of Learning will ensure full compliance of global and country policies, governance standards and regulatory controls.  Previous experience within financial services is essential for this role, as is a fluency in both English and Cantonese.  A confident, influential and dynamic approach is key, combined with a consultative manner and a passion and commitment to developing talent.
