A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading global financial institution.  Based in the Regional Head Office in Hong Kong, the Chief HR Officer is seeking an experienced HR professional who is looking for career progression as a Business Manager. 

The chosen professional will have high standards of excellence and will thrive in an organisation where being dynamic, proactive and fast paced is key to the success and enjoyment of the role. As Business Manager to the CHRO, the role is extremely varied, not only will you be required to juggle multiple projects at the same time but it will be imperative that you build strong relationships with each of the HR Managers across the region, and globe, as you will be liaising with them on a daily basis.

Some of the requirements of the role, but not limited to, will be to organise the annual HR conferences, prepare and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders, manage the CHRO’s teams deliverables, manage the department’s annual budget and spend.

If you are ALL of the following, this could be the perfect role for you:

·         Have 4-5 years of generalist HR experience within Asia, preferably with previous exposure within a consultancy role
·         Excel in a coordinating role
·         Possess outstanding organisational skills and able to multi-task
·         Able to build strong relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders
·         Can work independently within a fast paced environment
·         Are proactive by nature
·         Numeric – understand numbers, budget spend, forecasting (finance background NOT required)
·         Intermediate in PowerPoint and Excel
·         Fluent in English – both spoken and written
