A regional Head of HR role exists within a dynamic and progressive US company that is a trusted leader in its market area of specialism.  Having gone through a recent acquisition this company has spent the past 2 years stabilising the business and is now going through a period of strength where they are keen to build upon their existing capabilities. 
Through the appointment of a Head of Human Resources they seek to introduce a strategic partner to the business who will work within a matrixed environment, leading the HR agenda across the region and collaborating with the MD to align HR with the continued growth of the business.
Working closely with the internal stakeholders, this person will build credibility across the company through empowering the HR team and through establishing the HR division as a strategic centre of knowledge and excellence for the company.
The immediate expectations of this role will require you to manage the operations of the company across the region, whilst the long term objectives of this position will see you strategizing closely with the MD to design and implement comprehensive talent management initiatives and succession planning programmes.
With this in mind they require a dynamic and personable HR professional, who knows how to take the initiative and possesses the ability to mitigate risk.  Significant regional exposure in both China and India will put you at a great advantage when applying for this role.  A comprehensive understanding of working within a diverse and matrixed environment is key for this position.
